Healthy scalp=Great Results

Like any artist, the canvas is one of the most important elements of creating beautiful art. A healthy scalp is very important in getting the best results with scalp micropigmentation. Dry scalps happen, dandruff happens, we’re human…If you are prone to a dry scalp, it’s a good idea to use a sugar scrub gently on the scalp a couple days before your treatment and either condition your hair well or moisturize well. When too much dry skin on a scalp is present, it’s really difficult to get good pigment retention. I learned this in the beginning of my SMP career the hard way…not the end of the world, but it may require an extra session of me poking at you for 3 hours : )

Thanks for reading!

Cheers, Lea
